Syed Ali Arbaz Jafri (Urdu: سید علی ارباز جعفری, born 1992), popularly known as Arbaz Jafri or Ali Arbaz Jafri, is a famous hymner of Karbala. He is based in Karachi, Pakistan.
He revolutionized the Nauha khuwani of the South Asia in the modern age by giving his contributions to his local community and working as a bridge between the older generation and the younger generation. His nohas are recited the world over, from India, Pakistan, Oman to Canada.
Syed Ali Arbaz Jafri was born as Muhammad Ali Jafri in Karachi in the province Sindh. He was born to a family of descendants of 6th Imam of Shia Muslims, Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq in 1992. He was the first sibling of two brothers. He passed his Matriculation from Montessori Complex High School, Karachi in 2007. He continued his studies and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Karachi.
Arbaz Jafri was married to Syeda Faryal Kazmi. They have one daughter. Arbaz Jafri’s father Syed Ali Itrat Jafri is also a renowned policemen and still serving in Sindh Police as a Deputy Superintendent of Police.
